Nominate for the 2023 AGA Antonio C. Bonanno Award for Excellence in Gemology

The Accredited Gemologists Association (AGA) is seeking nominations for the 2023 Antonio C. Bonanno Excellence in Gemology Award. This prestigious award recognizes major contributions to the field of gemology.

Open to the international gem trade, AGA membership is not required to nominate or to be nominated. A nomination should be for an individual candidate, not a team. Nominees for the AGA Antonio C. Bonanno Award must have made a significant contribution to the gemological field in one or more of the following areas.

Selected by a vote of the members of the AGA, Bonanno Award recipients are presented with a specially commissioned bronze plaque and medallion together with a check for $2,000. Awardees are honored during the Gala Awards Ceremony and Dinner-Dance following the annual AGA Gemological Conference in Tucson, Arizona.

Past recipients include leading research gemologists from world-renowned laboratories, educators, market analysts, and developers of innovative equipment and software solutions for the gemological field.

Deadline for nominations is July 15th of each year. Nominations for the next award in 2023 will be accepted through July 15, 2022.

You may use the form below or print this form pdf file and send it to AGA. (Details are on the form.)
